Carlsons on the Move...

Today with the first day Nicholas got to play at the beach. We have gone to the beach many times, but it was warm enough to get the toys out and dig. He loved it minus the learning moment...where he decided to taste a fist full of sand. They say it only takes once.













Andrew and Nicholas played great together.













Andrew loves the beach. He enjoys throwing rocks, digging and now building sand castles.

Tonight the Johnson Family came over for dinner. We enjoyed spending the evening together. Andrew and Analia liked roasting left over peeps from Easter and burning marshmellows.

Tonight Andrew and I went to the Mariners game. It just so happened that my parents had tickets as well. So we met up with them for part of the game.

The most exciting part of the game was the 6th inning went both sides of cleared the dugout and the bullpin for a discussion in the infield. The crowd sure got into it.

Andrew and his preschool class went to the Pacific Science Center on tuesday. It was a fun trip. He enjoyed the bugs and the water area.

The sun came out and the rain held off just long enough for the kids to find (pick up) their eggs.

Tonight, Andrew had the opportunity to attend his 2nd Wiggles concert!
He wore his Captain Feathersword gear from last years concert. Andrew enjoyed sing and dancing to some of his favorite songs like Hot Potato!

Today we drove to Centralia to see Nana and Pom Pom at their business, the Power Shop. They have owned it since January 2005.
Andrew and Nicholas love to ride on the large mowers. Today was "Demo Day", where customers could come and try out the large mowers and other equipment. Since it rained most of the day, there weren't as many customers. So Chad and the boys took advantage of some quality time together. My mom even got in on the action!

Chad's sister Wendy is in town this weekend for a visit. So Chad took the day off and we drove to Mt Vernon to see the tulips. It was a beautiful day and there were quite a few tulips in bloom.

This weekend, after 25 years my parents have moved. We had a garage sale on Friday and Saturday. It went very well and we were able to sell and get rid of alot of stuff. Sunday we spent the day packing up the U-Haul truck, going to the Goodwill (several times), and a trip to the dump before heading to Centralia to unload everything. It was a long weekend, and we are all tired, but it was fun too.
