Carlsons on the Move...

Today Andrew, Nicholas and I are heading to Leavenworth for 10 days. We are planning on lots of time at the pool and at the local park, along with hanging out with cousins and family. Should be fun. We will return just in time to get things together to start school. Andrew is very excited about that too.

Today, Chad and his aunt Mary Esther (who flew in from Antioch, CA) are attending a memorial service for a family member, Gavin Coffee. He was in a car accident on I-5 in Shoreline, WA, he was trying to avoid a shelving unit that fell out of a truck, and was struck by another car. Very sad situation.

Andrew woke up yesterday and said, "Mom, is it my birthday today." I said, "Yes". He then stood on the floor standing as tall as he could be and said, "But I am not any taller."

Tonight Chad was playing a clip of a Christian remake of Sir Mix-A-Lot's classic rap, "Baby Got Back". "I like big Bibles" So Andrew was singing along before it even started and said..."It makes me so holy!"

Today Andrew, Nicholas and I took the ferry over to Clinton, WA to visit Andrews friend Caleb and his family. They live at Lakeside Bible Camp during the summer. Calebs dad, Steve is the director. We had fun playing and exploring the camp grounds.

Lets just say, BOYS plus DIRT equals A BLAST!

Today is my moms birthday...aka Nana. Andrew, Nicholas and I joined my parents for a ride on the famous "Duck" of Seattle. It was fun and the boys loved that it drove into the water!

Andrew had a "Disney Car's" birthday party. He had a great time with his friends. He and his friends played games, busted open a pinata, had cupcakes and bounced!

is a busy month for us as a family.

There are 6 birthdays...Chad, my brother in law Jarrod, my nephew Dillon, my sister Bekah, my mom, and Andrew turns 4. Plus one anniversary...my brother/sister in law Matt and Lita celebrating their 14th.

This weekend we are having a "Cars" party for Andrew and 6 of his friends. He is very excited and tells everyone that he is "almost 4 and having a cars party". We are also hosting a family get together on Sunday for my dads side. It should be fun too.

At the end of the month, the boys and I are heading to Leavenworth for 10 days to play. My family is going too. Chad is going to be staying home and working on the house. We have a few projects (like painting the house) that need to get done before the rain starts.

We recently purchased a new Apple computer, and are waiting for the DSL to be set up. The computer that my parents let us use its days are numbered, so we have been in transition with computers.

I have been having non-stop problems with our computer and blogging has been difficult.

Friday night we had 5 boys and 2 days stay the night in a tent in our backyard.

On Saturday we had a BBQ. It was a great time of catching up with friends and watching the kids all play together.
