Today is Chads last day of work at Keller Supply Co. He is very excited! Tonight we are celebrating by going to a baseball game, with no kids! Thanks Geary for watching the boys, we appreciate it. So, new job for Chad...he starts work on Monday at our church as the new Youth Pastor. He will working at the church until we move, June 2007 time frame.
So Happy Day for Chad and the rest of us!
Have you ever had a day that started out great? And then things just go down hill...Well today was one of those days. This morning we, the boys and I had a great morning at Pump it Up, and then went to see my sister in Seattle. On the way home Nicholas took a little nap, about 15 minutes. So when we got home he was full of energy and ready to get into everything. He first got into the cereal and dumped it on the floor. I decided it was time to play outside. Well, that only lasted a little while until Andrew and Nicholas wanted to come back inside, because they were bored! I find that hard to believe. Then Nicholas got into the fridge and raised havoc with the milk container, got into the Hersheys Syrup...and while I was cleaning that up he decided to dump all the toy buckets out in the living room. Good thing Chad walked in the door when he did! He took the boys for a ride in the car and to go get dinner!
Nicholas, 20 months, has been interested in the potty for some time now. He enjoys flushing the toliet and like putting the lid down. Well, tonight he used the potty. I hope and pray that with boy #2, it will be easier...so far so good!
As I type, Andrew is having his first slumber party with his good friend Noah James. They are in watching a movie, Auto B Good. So far they have played Rescue Heroes, games and did a floor puzzle of the states. They also played play-doh, and had Oreo's and milk. Sounds like a perfect time for two little 4 year old boys!
When you get two boys together who love to laugh and tell stories, bedtime doesn't happen like normal. Andrew fell asleep around 9:15pm, and Noah hung on until 10:00.
Nicholas, 20 months, slept on the bottom bunk last night for the first time. He stayed in his bed from 7:15pm until 8:00am!
Oh Happy Day!
Next several milestones to look forward to...getting rid of the binki and then potty training! He has gone several times on the potty.
Chad and I just returned from New Staff Orientation in Southern Califronia. We were busy with meetings during the days, but found time to play in the evenings. There were 10 new staff coming on board with CRM. My parents kept the boys for the week so we enjoyed time together. (Thanks Mom and Dad!)
Here are a few photos from our week away.

Today marks the first day of pre-kindergarten. Andrew goes to school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 8:45 am to 12:30 pm. There are 10 students in his class, and he knows 4 from his last years class. He is growing up and looks so big. His project today was to have his measurements taken and to do a hand print. So his is 38lbs and 3 feet 3 inches!
Andrew, Nicholas and I spent 10 days in Leavenworth, which is east of Seattle about 120 miles. It was sunny and warm, upper 90's most of the time. We did a lot of pool time, playing games, went to several fruit stands - one with a petting farm and things to climb on, and had lots of time to watch movies. It was great.
