This morning driving to school:
Andrew: We woke up late this morning.
Cindy: Yes we did. After you go to bed, mommy has lots of work to do around the house, so I stay up late.
Andrew: Yah, Daddys go to work and Mommys do laundry.
Yesterday after reading a story about firemen to Andrew:
Cindy: If you have any questions about firemen you can ask Mark. (A friend from college)
Andrew: Thats a good idea. Mark knows lots about that. But Julie (Marks wife) doesn't.
Cindy: She doesn't?
Andrew: No, she knows about mommy and girl stuff.

that it is warm enough to play in the pool. Well at least Andrew thinks it is. We added hot water to the pool, so it is comfortable. He told me he needed to practice swimming. We are going to Birch Bay for 4 days next week, so he is excited to swim in the pool there.

If you ask Andrew why we are moving to New Orleans...this is the response you will get.
Cindy: Andrew, why are we moving to NOLA?
Andrew: We are going to be missionaries.
Cindy: What is a missionary?
Andrew: It is someone who tells people about Jesus.
If you ask Nicholas the same questions, this is his response...

| T-Ball (Andrew) |
Andrew, Nicholas and I had a great day exploring. We started our day at Saint Edwards park and a picnic lunch. This is an amazing park with lots of places to climb and hide, swing and slide, along with playing in the sand. It was a beautiful day for playing outside. They were done with the park but weren't ready to go home, so I got the bright idea to go feed the ducks at Country Village. Well they don't seem to do that anymore, so we found the play area there and saw that the train was running. Andrew and Nicholas had a great time on the train. We also stopped by the church to hang out with Chad, as he was cleaning out his office and the youth house.
Today Chad worked a side job. He told Andrew that he was going to spend the day swinging a hammer and working on bathrooms. Andrew looked at him and said, "Dad, you don't do that job anymore. You sit in an office and talk to people."

Tonight we had several options for things to do. One plan fell through and the other we didn't feel much like doing, so instead we stayed home and enjoyed the evening in the backyard. We played catch with Andrew, blew bubbles with Nicholas and we sat around the fire burning leftover peeps from Easter.

you could have so much fun with a roll of adding machine tape.
a 2 and 4.5 year old could play with a pack n play for over an hour!
I am babysitting a little boy this week who is a year younger to the day than Nicholas. His parents are missionaries who are in training this week with Action International. They are from the east coast and needed someone to watch their son. Andrew and Nicholas are having a great time playing with him. Nicholas is enjoying being the older boy and being a big helper.
Today was Andrew's first t-ball game, I mean games. Yes he had a double header. He had a great time and did really well. All of the kids get to bat each inning and they get to play, I mean stand in different positions, I mean spots on the field. He is #16! Thank you to the Linhart family for supporting Andrew's debut!
