Today was the day marked on the calendar to toss the binki's in the garbage. This is the way Nicholas wanted to do it.

Andrew was pumped for his first T-ball practice. We have talked about this day for months now and he could hardly contain himself. He walked up to the coach and said, "Hi. I'm Andrew. I am 4.5 years old and I am excited to be here." The coach looked at me and smiled and said, "Andrew, I can tell you are excited!" Andrew is one of the youngest kids and of course the shortest of the bunch. It was kindof scary to see how big some of the other kids were. He did a great job, willing to do everything that the coach asked and wasn't demanding to go first everytime...which is HUGE. Andrew will have games every Saturday until mid-June, so if you are around and interested I am sure he would love to have you come!

For those who know about our church, Esperance Baptist Church, where Chad works, had a vote today to dissolve the church. This is how it went...
Yes 42
No 18
Abstain 5
Equals a NO to move forward with the Fresh Start with CBNW. So now what?? We don't know.

Tonight Jim asked Patti to be his wife. And of course she said, "YES"! We are so excited for Jim and Patti.
I remember telling Chad back in 2001 that Jim needed to date Patti because she would be perfect for him. This photo of Jim and Patti was taken back in 2001.

This evening my sister and I were in the garage cleaning and getting ready for our garage sale this weekend, and when we came in to check on the boys who were watching a movie...we found this! (click the pic to enlarge)

Some friends of our let us borrow their "Wii". Andrew has caught on very quickly! He beat his Pom Pom in tennis and knocked out Chad in boxing. He is hitting home runs in baseball and bowling strikes. We even moved the living room furniture around again so they would have more room. The "Wii" fever is catching the Carlson family.
Andrew and I left at 12:50AM...fun flight for me, Andrew slept the entire way. When we landed he asked why we hadn't moved and wondered if the plane was broken.
We went on a froze pond and played. Fun times!
Andrew and Tilly, age 3 played dress up a bunch! Super cute!
We drove into Wisconsin for cheese, but ended back in Minnesota for more cheese.
Susie, Tilly and Andrew reading stories.
Andrew and I spent an afternoon together...doing fun things.
Airplane ride home.
Andrew was very excited to have an 8 week old puppy right next to him. The puppy came out to play several times and Andrew got to hold it.
